Birthday Boy!

It was J.C’s birthday yesterday and of course like every one of his birthdays he had to be studying for finals. So we didn’t do much. We went to dinner with Kathy, Amy, Jason, and Kristian and then we went and had birthday Ice Cream Cake from 31 flavors it was sooo good! But I just wanted to tell everyone how happy I am that he was born I love him so much and am so grateful for him. Here are the 10 top things I love about J.C., if you want to list something or many things you love about J.C please post a comment.

1.I Love him because he is a great example to so many people.
2.I love him because he works so hard at anything and everything he does.
3.I love the way he smells everything
4.I love that he can cut paper with his amazingly deadly hands. (thank you Amy for showing me that)

7.I love that he is so freaking funny and even when I am mad he can make me laugh.

Tribute to Trent

What I can say about Trent is never enough he is one of the best cousins you could get. He is so much fun and can always make you laugh. Trent is the cousin and nephew that everyone loves and no one can point out one thing about him because there is like 50 million things that make him the best but he is everyone’s favorite. And I am sticking to my claim that I am his favorite. He leaves on his mish in one week from today and me and Jc are going to miss him a lot!! I He is going to Carlsbad Cali, so we might be running into him sometime when we go to visit Laurie...
(I'm just throwing it out there.)
But I just wanted to tell him that we love him and we are really excited for his mish and all that it brings into your life.
He for sure will be one of the best missionary’s ever!

Little James was born at 1:44 a.m on April 19Th.

He is 7 lbs and 9 oz and is 19 inches long

he is so fat and has a lot of dark brown hair.

He has his mom's face shape and his dads nose. He is a perfect mixture of both of his

proud parents.

He has big feet and big hands and we all know what that means...

Here are some of the projects that i have done lately. This is my flower quilt.

Fight...Fight

Stacie almost got into a fight with an 80 year old woman this week. As you can tell she is 9 months pregnant and ready to have James here. So like most women do she went on a walk to try and induce labor. So she is just walking along in a condo complex and this lady comes up and says “ Do you live here?” to witch Stacie replies “no I’m just on a walk my doctor told me it would be good to walk around to help get my baby here.” And then the lady says “ if you don’t live here then your trespassing and your on private property and you can’t walk around here” and Stacie just goes well I’m just on a walk and the lady again says “This is private property” so Stacie just says “ Ok fine bitch I’ll leave”. LOL I love Stacie!

Identity Crisis

I feel like I am having a bit of an identity crisis because all of the sudden I am doing things I thought I would never do…. For example, I started running and as you all know ran a half marathon and I want to keep doing it which is weird because I didn’t really love it. I did have one break through but not even during the race so I guess I will keep going and maybe it will be easier the next time.

Also I have started quilting, JC gave me a sweet sewing machine for Valentines Day and I went to a quilting class with Celeste and now I like to quilt… I am slow at it but I still like doing it and I can’t get all my lines together but Celeste assures me that I need to keep it that way because it’s my first quilt. And I made little James (who still isn’t here) a blanket with the help of Paige, and instruction from Lind’s.




One last thing is I got into a book club… I don’t read and never thought I would read just for fun. But I read the first book club book “The glass Castle” in 2 days and Jc made so much fun of me cause that’s all I wanted to do. He kept calling me a “Bookworm” and went to book club just last night and really enjoyed it. He thinks it’s so weird that people get together jus to talk about the book he couldn’t get over it. The book for this month is “These is my words” by Nancy Turner so I hope it is as good as the last one.

We got to hang out with just Mia this day and took her to the Tory pine cliffs. They are really cool and then we went to lunch at Jack's which is right on the beach of Del Mar, we had a lot of fun.
