Tatum

I got home from Chicago and picked up the girls and hit the road
again to go meet our newest cousin who decided to come on one of the
three day's I was gone.  Georgia was so excited to
go see  "Tater tot Tatum".  Georgia didn't get to meet her new cousins
for a few day's cause she was in the nicu but we had a few very
interesting days at the hospital.  I think the first day we went to visit
G colored the whole table with a marker which we never got all the
way off.  But we made sure to cover it so the staff couldn't see.  The
next day I caught her coloring the key's on the computer.
Finally the last day after all the waiting and visits to Paige and Bunk
She got to meet her new baby cousin.  She loves little Tatum and
now thinks she has two babies to take care of.
Millie and her Bestie I can not wait for these two to grow
up together.  They will be the best of friends
And here we are with our babies.  Don't you think we should
just keep her?  She's way to cute she needs to be ours.

I'm Back... Shall we start in Chicago?

ok so it's been awhile...or forever so much has happened and
so were going to go back a little.  October started out with a me leaving
on a girls trip.  I left J.C. and the girls for 4 days of pure bliss.
It was the first time I left Millie and it was hard, good but hard.
I had so much fun with my best friends.  This year we meet up for our
2nd annual girls weekend.  Last year we were all living in
New York and so it only made since to go to the City but this year we all
live in different states.  So we decided to meet up in Chicago.  It was
so much fun we shopped, ate great food, got pedi's, talked, laughed,
cried it was the best! I know I've said this before but I have the best friends.
I can't imagine my life with out one of these girls.  They make me a better
person, better mom, better wife and bring a lot of fun and happiness into my
life.  Thanks girls for the best weekend of the year can't wait till our
next one.

My flight was delayed and so I got there way latter than
the rest of the group
Cindy made a sign for everyone.

 Chicago style pizza.

 Sprinkles cupcakes...yummy

I could not have picked a better group of friends.  Love you
all and miss you so much.

Date Night

Last night we had family date night and went to the
Lion King in 3D.  We told G that she had to wear
glasses the whole time and she said she would but once
we got there she didn't want to wear them cause they
were to big for her.  After some modifacations were
made they would finally stay up and she wore them the
whole time.  She loved the movie so much and it
was so fun to go to a movie together with our little family.
Millie even liked the movie, she stayed awake through
the whole thing and just watched  the screen like she
knew what was going on it was so funny.

4 Months

Millie had her 4 month appointment with Dr. Mike.
she looks so cute in this little gown that I couldn't
resist snapping some pictures. This little girl is growing
and getting too big to fast.
Stats:
Weight: 15.5 lbs 85%
Height: 25 inches 90%
One funny thing about Millie is that she is so
tuff she has had 3 sets of shots in her life.  The first time
I was the only one that cried she did not.
  The second time Georgia cried
and and said "Mom I don't want Millie to get shots"
Millie let out one little cry and then was fine.
and for the 4 month set of shots she just got a sad look on
her face but not one little cry was ever let out.

Along with her Dr. Apt. here are some of the things
that she is doing.  Rolling like crazy, she is talking so
much.  I love to hear her coo and talk.  Millie loves her
sister.  Anytime Georgia is in the room or talking Millie is trying
to find her and talk to her.  She will smile and laugh at Georgia any
time.  She has started to eat and she seems to like everything we
gave her.  We love this little Millie and are so
grateful for her in our life.

More Fun in NYC

So we went to NYC because Jace had to take a test.
The day that he was gone taking his test me and the girls hung
out around town.  We went shopping then went to lunch.  When we
got back from lunch I decided to take the girls to swim at the
hotel pool.  We had a good two hours of swimming.  Millie
got to swim for 20 minutes then she sleep in the stroller
the rest of the time while G and I had some fun.
When we got out of the pool G went to put her towel
in the bucket so we could go back to our room and and she
slipped and hit the back of her head pretty hard.  I picked her
up and as she was crying and all the sudden she went limp aka she
passed out.  I freaked out started screaming help help.  There were
kids out in the hall way that heard me and went to get there parents.
But they told there parents someone was drowning so one guy
ran in and actually jumped in the pool ( bless his heart).  Anyways
they had called 911 and so before I knew it we were surrounded
by a cop and 4 paramedics.  They told me since she passed
out they needed to take her to the hospital. I said I wanted to wait
till Jace got back and then we could take her but the cop told me
they would have to report me to CPS if I didn't take her
just because she did pass out.  So I keep trying to call Jace
I probably called him 10 times and he never answered and
he should have been back but he wasn't in our room so
someone went to my room and got Millies car seat and we meet
them at the ambulance.  As were getting in Jace finally
showed up shocked and scared that his family was all
getting into an ambulance.  With a shocked look on his face
he asked what happened so I told him then we decided Jace would
take G in the ambulance and I would take Millie back to the
room and get dressed and meet them up there.  So bottom line
we spent the night in the E.R. they decided to do a C.T scan
on G and checked her out and finally we got the green light
to go home.

There is nothing like a night in the E.R. for some family
bonding time.
G doing the C.T. scan.  At first she wouldn't do it and after
trying to get her to do it for 20 minutes they sent us back to our
room.  They said they would need to put her out to do it if she
wouldn't agree to.  So after about 30 minutes of  us trying to bribe her
she finally said she would do it.  What finally worked was we told her
she could have Millies Binkie while she did it.  (We took her binki
away a few months ago and still would take one if we would let her.)
Here she is getting the scan done she did so good
and held so still.  I was one proud Momma.
Then back to the hotel to relax and get some sleep
So true to form our biggest priority was to get doughnuts
and boy were they good.  They never disappoint. My favorite
PB&J.

Proud to be an American

Last week we went to New York for the weekend.
Jace had to take a test down in the city so the girls and
I decided to tag along.  When I told Georgia we were going
I said what do you want to do when we go there, thinking she would
say go to the park or the zoo or the toy store's but she quickly
replied " Mom lets go to the statue of liberty."
She has learned about the statue from a few different things like
books, puzzles, little Einstein's T.V.  show and when
ever she see's a picture of it she gets so excited.  So I told her
we would do that when we were there. Then every day
probably 3 or 4 times a day G would ask if we were going to
New York City today, and
every time I would tell her no not today she would say
" ahhhhhhh MMMMOOOOMMMM"
She was so excited to go when we were packing the car to
go down she said to me
"Mom thanks so much for taking me to New York City I'm so
excited to see the statue of liberty"
then the whole way down probably 50+ times she said to Jace
and I  "I'm so excited to go to the statue of liberty."
So the day after we got there we went.  When G first saw it
she started jumping up and down yelling "it's the statue of liberty."
We waited in the line for about 2 hours in the blistering
heat and humidity.  We also had to listen to Millie cry for the last
hour of the line because she was so hot and miserable. But once we
got on the ferry it cooled down with the wind and Millie finally fell
asleep.   We got to the statue and walked around and took pictures.
I told J.C. every time I there I get teary because I think about what
that statue means to our country and it makes my heart happy.
Also I think about all the men and woman fighting for our
freedom and I am always so grateful that we live in the USA.
On the ferry ride out Georgia couldn't keep her
eyes off the statue she was so excited to finally be getting there

1st timers... Jace & Georgia had never been there so
both were excited to see her up close.
 Family Pic with the statue
Lady liberty herself

Millie and me in front of the new world trade center.
Going to the statue was a dream come true for Georgia
she still hasn't stopped talking about it.  And she keeps saying to us
" I have an idea next time we go to New York City
we can go to the statue of liberty again, that would soooo be fun"
I love that my little girl loves the statue and can't wait for
her to really understand how much that means to our country.

Irene Comes To Visit

Hurricane Irene dropped by Albany.  We were lucky
to not get hit too hard, but it was a pretty big deal.
So they started warning about the storm in the middle of the
week and on Friday our church got canceled and so we got ready
for the big storm.  J.C. was supposed to be taking his boards
during the storm and they didn't cancel it so he left at about
7:30 that morning and then showed up back at home around 8:00
and said they left a note on the door that said the test was
canceled.  J.C. was not very happy about it but I'm just glad
that I wasn't home alone during this storm.   Anyways, it rained
hard and had strong winds.  We were with out power for 24 hours
and although I didn't like it, Georgia LOVED it.
She had so much fun with the flash lights and daddy playing
hide and seek in the dark.  We put Georgia to bed and Jace
and I played Rummikub by head lamp.
We also just had fun talking and laughing together.
You don't realize how nice it was to have the t.v and
computer taken away. we couldn't even use our phones
because they were about to die and we couldn't charge them.
Jace said to me a few day's later I wish
we could have no power more often cause that was fun
just to talk and playing games and I agreed

Here G is hiding from Jace playing hide and seek.  Notice her
nice head lamp she loved it.
We stayed in our P.J's all day and just hung out.
Millie didn't mind no power she still had her
warm meals every 3 hours as usual.
 Playing Rummikub
Here is the tree that fell down on our street.
It was a huge tree and fell on the house across the street.
G and Jace at the tree

And here is the tree in the day light
The next day we woke up early and it was a nice
day and we still didn't have power so we went to the park
to go jogging and also so G could ride her bike.  We got
there and had a small problem 80% of the park was under water
I was able to jog but i came home with soaking wet socks
and pants and G got to ride her bike too which she loved.

This is the parking lot at the park

We couldn't even make it to the playground cause to get there I
would have had to wade through two feet of water.
We are just grateful that we didn't get hit to bad and
happy that we were keep safe.

Movin' Millie

Millie is on the move.  She started rolling about two weeks ago
and hasn't stopped since.  She now has learned if she rolls more than
once she can actually get somewhere.   I love this little rolling girl

More Utah

I know it seems like we were in Utah for ever
but we actually weren't there too long we just never stop
doing fun stuff when we are there.   It actually gets exausting
and when I get back home to New York I always tell Jace
I need a vacation because of my vacation.  So here are some
more of the fun stuff we did.
Millie went swimming for the first time.  She still doesn't
know what to think about it.
Nanny took Georgia to the fountians at the Gateway
and G loved it!
After the fountians G needed a snow cone.  They
don't have snow cone places in NY so when ever
we saw one we went to get a treat.
The clarks were in Utah the same time as us.  We only got to spend
a few hours together but we will take all the time with our
besties we can get. G and Hazel left didn't skip a beat they
acted like they hadn't been apart which is so much fun for me
to see her with Hazel  having so much fun.
 Cam loved Millie
Cindy also got some Millie action.
Me and my girls. I want Hazel to be mine.
This is the best pic we could get of all the kids. hahaha
 Me and Cind
Ben and Jace we hope that these two work together
some day.
Millie also got to meet her Great Grandparents and Linds. Grandma Kate is hard to please when it
comes to naming your baby.  But we didn't have a hard time with
Millie she loves the name Millicent.

Millie also got to meet Grandpa and Grandma Banker. Millie
was the only kid that got invited to Grandma's 80th birthday party.
And I'm happy to say she stayed true to form never making a peep.
