Weekend Away

Last weekend J.C. and I took a little weekend getaway
first we took Georgia to spend the weekend with
Aunt Paige. There so happened to be a football game that
night so we had to attend. G only made it to the 3 quarter but
it was still so much fun. I got kind of sad that I wasn't there to
watch Jace play football. It took me right back to WX High. (Go Cats!)
G got to spend the whole weekend with this awesome aunt.
And Jace and I got to spend our weekend with this guy...
We love Van Morrison and have wanted to see him in concert
for a long time. We tried to get tickets once before
but Jace had school stuff so we couldn't go. Van was
finally going to be close to us again and it was the weekend
after a test so Jace could spend the whole weekend away.
So off to Connecticut we went. It was totally weird not having
G with us but we had so much fun together and LOVED the concert.
We forgot our little camera so we just got 2 pics from the
whole weekend. This is where the concert was.
We found this cute little diner, and it was so good.

Sneak Preview

Georgia and I are on the road again. And I have a
lot to blog about but I don't have my computer or camera
so here are pictures that Aunt Paige took of Georgia in
her Halloween costume.

...Lots more fun to come

Fortune

So everyone loves a good fortune right? When ever I get
a fortune cookie it's lame to say the least but J.C. seems to get
really good ones and really deep ones and when ever he gets
one that really means something to him he keeps them in
a special spot that he can see them each and every day.

My favorite fortune by far! Given our current situation
it really hit home.I also love this one that he got the other day when
Georgia and I went to have lunch with him at the hospital.
Because we don't see him as much as we would like.
And last probably J.C.'s favorite.
And a pic of our family with the fall leaves.

Polar Opposites

This is Georgia's favorite song, Polar Opposites. It's a
Modest Mouse song but she likes the blue grass cover band
version (thanks Uncle Ben). This is her reaction every
time we turn on the song...She loves it!

P.S. don't mind her Zac Efron hair do she is sporting. Her bangs are
growing out so when she wakes up in the morning we
get to see the classic Zac hair.

Warning...LONG Post! But my mom was in town!

My mom and her girl friends went to NYC for a
week and me and G went down to the city at the end of there
trip and meet my mom and spent a few nights down there.
Then she came to our house for another week so we have
a lot to cover...Central Park
G got to take a carriage ride around central park with my
mom and her friends unfortunately they will only allow 4
people on so I got to WALK to the other end of the park and meet them.
Sharon, G and Mom walking in the subway station.
Time Square
G had to walk a lot cause her
stroller was full of our shopping goods.
Toys-R-Us ferris wheel

On our way home we stopped at our favorite diner

We also took G to the apple orchards and they have a
small petting zoo.

We visited Uncle Sam's grave, our families always
love to go to the old creepy grave yards when they are
here and we found this one when Joe and Cel were here
We also couldn't get grandma get all the way out
here and not put her to a little work. She pulled out
a few tree's and we planted 150 tulips in our front yard.
Surprisingly G actually was helpful she would get in the
bag and get a bulb and hand it to us as we were digging holes
and she loved it!
Last we headed up to Sarratoga and we loved
it. We haven't been up there but it reminds us a lot
of Park City and was tons of fun. And now that we
know what is up there we will be visiting more often

Thanks for everything Mom we miss you already

Georgia's New Swing

When Grandpa Joe was here this summer one
afternoon J.C., Ben and Joe left for an outing and
came back with this awesome porch swing. I love it
and knew G would love it too. We finally got it up and
I was right G loves it. We go out 3-4 times a day to swing.
Even if she sees it from the front window she starts throwing
a little tantrum and pointing cause she wants to be out there.

Thanks Grandpa Joe we love our swing.

Bean Town & Aunt P

Look who moved out East
Aunt Paige has moved to Boston and we couldn't be
more excited. We are right in the middle of two of
our sisters now. YAHOO! Jace had a test last week so G and I
packed our bags and took the 2 hour drive to Bean town to spend
time with Paige and explore the city a little bit.
We had a blast which is always the case when we get to
hang with P-diddy. We are so excited cause we have never
lived this close to her and can't wait to spend tons of time
together. Thanks for the fun few days Paige we
can't wait for our next trip
Playing at the park

once again we can't pass up on a carousel

Big girl
and we couldn't go anywhere with out a treat
and by the look on this girls face...she loved it.
P.S. If you know why they call it Bean town let me know
I can't figure it out and I have looked it up on Wikipedia and
can't find the answer. Thanks
