He's still got it!

Some of you know that Jace use to race boardercross in
snowboarding but since we have been in New York he
hasn't even had time to go snowboarding let alone race. But
this weekend they had one and he actually could take
half of the day off from studying and hit the mountain.
And he sure did good. He was in 3 different races to
get to the finals in the open division and then in
the finals he took second by maybe a foot. All the line
judges at the finish line were asking me where "my home boy"
was from and why he hasn't been racing all year.
I had to inform them that he was a snowboarder turned
Medical student and he just didn't have the time.
They were also telling me I had to get him to race all year
next year cause he was "crazy good". It was pretty awesome too
because the guy who got Gold and bronze
are both going to Nationals (so you know they are pretty good)
I couldn't be more proud of my husband. It was so much fun to
go and watch him do something he loves so much.

The bottom of the course of the final race.
It was neck and neck.

Being awarded his silver medal.
Georgia didn't get to go because she had
been throwing up so Aunt Paige stayed home
and watched her (thanks p and bunk) but there
was a proud little girl waiting for her dad when he
got home.
I just also have to say that this is pretty awesome
since Jace has only snowboarded maybe 5 times in the
last 2 years. I'm so proud can you tell?

Not so much fun

This is what our house looks like today.
It all started on Friday when I got sick from what I
though was food poisoning. After 24 hours of barfing and
a few more day of hot and cold sweats I finally started feeling
better. Little did I know that a few hours later G would start
throwing up and the next day (today) it would hit Jace.
The flu has hit our house and we are bunkered
down to weather the storm.

Best of Friends...

Georgia is in LOVE with gunner.
Everything he does she thinks is funny.
She loves waking up and seeing him and loves to cuddle
with him on his bed.
When ever we go anywhere gunner must be in the
car sitting next to her or else you will have to listen to her
screaming "Nunner" over and over and over until we get back to him.
Listening to his secrets.
She obviously thinks he is really funny

And lastly just FYI my baby is totally a toddler and it's trippn'
me out. She is such a big girl.
