Utah: Part 2

One of Georgia's favorite things at my moms house is her
giant lazy suzan. Grandpa Jim taught her last time we were
there that she could
sit on it and take a ride. I keep finding that she would
climb up on the table and sit on the lazy suzan and then after
she was up there she would yell for someone to come push her.
Hanging out with Nanny and Maggie the dog. Maggie is so
nice to always let G sit on her and ride her like a horse.
Poor Grandpa Joe had to run up and down this hill
50 times with Georgia.

After doing that for what seemed like forever they came up
to watch the sun set on the deck together.
Grandma Cel is known for her tickles. G knows
that she can always get an arm tickle by grandma if she just
goes up to her and holds out her arms. This day Grandma
was just putting our new cousin Max to sleep when G wanted
a tickle so she took off her pants and let grandma tickle her legs
and instantly fell into a deep slumber. Grandma has the magic
touch when she can put two kids to sleep at once.
We tried this little waffle place in SLC it was really good
G had her own seat on the way home and made
herself very comfortable with her bink, blanket, and
my phone watching movies and playing games.

Surprise!!!

Georgia and I decided to surprise our families and fly
to Utah with out anyone knowing. It was a total surprise for
all of us. I decided to go Tuesday afternoon and was on my
way to the airport at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. The reason
for the rash decision was because Gunner needed to get surgery
and it was the only week I didn't have stuff going on, so i could
take him. So for the rest of Tuesday afternoon I was running
around likea chicken with it's head cut off. I had to also get
gunner into a vet to get permission to fly. I had to go to the
store, do laundry, and pack and I also was taking care of my
friend's little girl. It was a crazy day, but was well worth it with
the expressions we got from everyone. So the day after we got
there we were on our way to Cafe Rio and were driving up the
road when we saw my brother chopping down a huge tree at his
new house. All my nieces and nephews were there, so we sat
and watched as the tree cam down.
The gang after the tree came down
Georgia loved my mom's wagon, and had many rides by grandma.
Also we were there for game 1 of the playoffs so
of coarse G wore her Jazz dress all day and got many
complements.
We actually timed it just right because the weekend we
were there it was my nephews Jay's birthday. So we got
to hit up his party that G totally loved. The kids went
to the fire station and then played at the park there.
Here is Kalie teaching how to make a train.
Georgia is so funny right now she loves cars, trucks, and planes.
she had so much fun checking out the fire trucks

The night before we had some of my cousins over for a BBQ.
Georgia was in love with Lola and still is calling for her.

Lots more to come. Even though we were only there 5
days we packed in a lot

Easter Weekend 2010

I know I'm about 3 weeks late but I need to go back
to show what we did on Easter. Easter weekend we headed
to the Jersey shore. It was way fun G and Josie had a blast and
had a fun Easter morning finding there baskets and going on a
egg hunt. Jace and Ben are crazy and went surfing, and we
all had a great time shopping at the little surf shops.

This is so my childhood. My mom and my Aunt Kath
would dress Brighton and I the same all the time. Santa would
always bring us the same cloths and when we started school
all our school cloths would be the same. Now G and Josie are
in the same position we were and they love it as much as Bright and I did.
We hit the beach up a few times Jace and Ben went surfing
and the rest of us hung out. And gunner got to take his first
trip to the beach and he loved it.

And last Easter morning finding her Easter basket.

Spring Break 2010

So for spring break 2010 we were going to go
to Texas to visit Grandpa and Grandma, but Grandpa
had just gotten done with his Chemo and didn't feel good
enough to have visitors. So instead we had a "STAYCATION"
We took a few days updating our bedroom, then
we headed to NYC for a little sight seeing, shopping, and
eating. We had so much fun first we started by going to
the Statue of Liberty. We got there and there was a line that was
over 2 hours long to go to Ellis island so we
decided to snap a few pictures and skip the whole island.
It was all of our fist time seeing the statue of liberty. I know it's lame
of us since we have lived her almost 2 years now.
Jace and G at the Wall street bull
That sculpture in back of us was in the first
world trade center that was hit on 9-11. It's crazy to
see because it somehow survived the day but it has
some serious damage to show for it.
Please click on the pic below to see G's face as cars are
headed straight for her.
Ok for anyone who is ever planning on going to NYC
you have to go to the Doughnut plant. I think between
the three of us we ate a dozen doughnuts these are the
best doughnuts we have ever had.
Then after more shopping we went to dinner at
Cafe Habana. Georgia and I could have eaten this corn
for days and days. Georgia made sure she didn't leave one little
thing left on the cob. This is another must for any visitors in NYC.
This is just part one there is lot more fun to come when we headed to
Jersey, got some 80 degree weather, headed to the beach did some surfing
and hung with the family. Check back soon.
