Poor Gun Dog

Today gunner underwent major surgery. He has been limping

on his back legs for about 3 weeks now and we
thought it was because he had bad arthritis but come to find out
he had actually torn his ACL. So he has a plate and 3 pins
in his leg. Poor gunner but hopefully he will be back to his old self soon.

A sad day In the Liljenquist House.

This is a sad day in our home because tomorrow Lindsey and Josie will be leaving Utah to meet up with Ben in there new home state of New Jersey. Me and J.C. have been lucky enough to spend most of our time this summer with these two girls and Ben. In May Lindsey, Ben, and Josie arrived for a fun filled summer. When I found out in June that I was going to have to have surgery and be out of work for 6 weeks, I was nervous but really excited because I knew this meant spending more time with the Clarks. For a little over a month me and J.C. were basically living in Bountiful while I recovered but mostly because we wanted to be close to Josie. We have had so much fun watching Josie grow up before us. She started to crawl, pull her self up on stuff, and being a major gabby girl. We also had many fun adventures and travels with the Clarks we started them off by going to Orange County and spending a week with them and the whole family. Then we flew off to Texas later in the summer and had so much fun with Josie we shopped and played and had so much fun on the beach. Then me and Lindsey decided we needed a girls trip to go and visit Laurie and her kids while Matt was away on business so we went down to San Diego and spent a week with them. I can't believe that the summer has come and gone and now we will be seeing these two girls off to meet up with there main man. We will miss them so so so much. I can't imagine going more than 2 days with out being able to see Josie and play with her I think about how much she has grown in the past 4 1/2 months and get sad thinking how much she will have changed by the next time we see her.

Linds and Josie we are going to miss you more than you can imagine. We love both of you so much and can't wait for the next time we get to spend 4 months with you.

Babies, Babies, Babies

My family is full of babies right now. In the past year there has been 9 new babies.
Mondays is play day's for these lucky kids.
The moms get together
for 2-3 hours to let there babies play.(they mostly just scream)

Butter Mints 101

Today me and Lindsey went and took a cooking class from Grandma Cate.

She was so nice to take time to teach us how to
make her famous butter mints. We had so much fun making
and eating them. Yummy

For those who don't know Grandma Cate she is the sweetest lady.
J.C. is always bragging about his grandma because
she is the best cook in the world and I can't argue with that.
When we were finishing the butter mints J.C. came over and told his
grandma that next he wants her to teach me how to make her
famous mashed potatos and roast. I think he basically wants me to
take a cooking class every week till I learn to cook.

Park With Kaylie

We took Kaylie to Liberty Park when we tended her for the weekend.
She loves water so she loved the fountians. We had a lot of fun with her!

Big Blue

Look how cute baby Jay is I love his eyes I can not get over how big and blue they are.
I was with him today and he is so freaking cute he is
finally at the age that his personality is coming out and it is so much fun!!
He was totally laughing and talking, oh how I love my nephew!!!

J.C. and his Mini Me

Mia is so cute and I hate to say it but I think
she might be Jace's favorite he can never get enough of her.
Laurie always tells me how much Mia is like J.C. so maybe that is why
he loves her so much cause it's his little mini me!
