Girls...

It's a good thing J.C. was raised with only girls...
because we are about to add another one to our family and once
again Jace will be out numbered.
Georgia is getting a little sister in May and she couldn't be more excited.

Thanksgiving week

So we started off our Thanksgiving week with my Birhtday.
I had a great day with Jace and Georgia. Jace spoiled me
as usual and I loved spending the day with my two favorite people.

We spent Thanksgiving with our friends this year
We decided that since all of our very best friends were moving
with in the next 6 months we would spend the day together. We
had a lot of fun and a thanksgiving we will never forget.
Here are Cindy and Nicole
G and her bestie Hazel coloring
J.C. throwing all the kids around
I had to post this picture because G gets really shy sometimes
it is so cute. She hangs her head and talks really quietly and slow.
It's so funny because it gives me a little glimpse of what Jace was
like as a little kid.
And we ended the night with the guys playing wii.
Thanks Clarks for the great Thanksgiving.

Besties

Georgia has a lot of really good friends
She love them all, but for the last little while Hazel
has been her best friend. Hazel and Georgia are just 6 months
apart and have so much fun together. They both love babies
love to read books and just be together. Georgia asks me
to go see her at least once a day. And calls her on her
fake phone all day long. Our family is going
to be really sad because in a few short weeks Hazels family
will be leaving us for bigger things... Like a real job.
I am really going to miss these two playing together. They play
so cute. Here they are playing outside on the first day it snowed.
The sad thing is they wanted to go outside so bad to see the snow
and by the time I had them both warm we went out and the snow
had stopped. They still played around and had fun. Here they are watching squirrel's and rabbits in our back yard.
Having a pajama party and a sleepover.
Here they are at the fair strolling around.
We are really going to miss Hazel I love her as if she was
my own and I wish she was so Georgia could play all day.

Halloween

We are going to start off with this hunk.
J.C. usually skips out on Halloween dressing up
I have only seen him in one costume all the time we
have been together, which is a 80's one piece ski suit.
So after a lot of begging to dress up with us he complied and
said he would dress up as a rocker. I was fine with that, anything
is better than nothing the fun thing is that J.C.'s whole
costume was found right in his closet. You gotta love this boy. Then we had the cutest little Minnie Mouse in history.
Georgia is obsessed with Minnie and Mickey. This year was
so much fun with G because she LOVED her costume and
had fun showing it off around the neighborhood.

One of our friends had a Halloween party and we were in charge
of making the cake. And I have to give the credit to Jace. I guess
being a perfectionist can come in handy when you are making cakes.
I made the cake and Jace did all the decorating. It took him a good hour
but the out come was well worth the time he took.
Our family pic Minnie, a rock star, and I was jc's guitar.
The kids
The girls, we some how didn't get a pic of all the guys.
This was the last thing we will do with our little group of
friends. We have one friend who leaves next week to interview
for some jobs and they will be gone for 6
weeks and then in December the Clarks move to
Indiana leaving the rest of us for bigger and better things.
So it was kind of a bitter sweet night. I can't even begin to
tell you how much I will miss getting our families together
for dinners, BBQ's, games, parties and everything.
These are the people that have been our family here in Albany
and I am going to miss all the fun we have together.

Pa Bob and Nanny come to NY

A few days after my family let J.C.'s family
came to visit. We had a lot of fun in a short amount
of time. Linds and her girls got to come up and so did
Paige so we had a full house. One day we went to this
little farm it was really cute and the kids had a lot of fun.
Watching the pig races
the human hamster wheel
the house full of corn.
And then there was the 80 foot under ground slide.
Which not only the kids loved but so did all the adults.
And I think we have talked nanny and pa Bob to put one in there
back yard at there new house.
J and G riding the slide together, they LOVED every minute.
And then there was Cowie-d, G named the cow that she was
obsessed with this cow she loved feeding playing with it.

We also got to show the parents where Jace spends all
his time.
Thanks Nanny and Pa Bob for everything we are
so glad you finally made it out, and can't wait
for you to come back. We miss you and can't wait to
see you in 6 short weeks.

My sisters & mom come to town

In early October my Mom and sisters came to New York
for a week to visit us. We had a lot of fun and did
a lot of fun things.Visted the Norman Rockwell Museum
Went to the local farm

Jace got to spend one day with us and this was the day we
decided to visit the awesome grave yards in upstate NY
The girls at a really cute brunch place
Then it was off to NYC, we left Georgia and Jace with Paige for 4 days
and did a bunch of things in the big city. We went to some
Broadway plays, shopped, went on a food tour, visited old'
liberty herself, and ate good food. Although I was a little under
the weather when we were there it was fun to be with
my mom and sisters and showing them around my new home state.

Thanks for the fun Mom I never thought it would happen
and I'm glad it did!

Apple Picking In September

Georgia and I went apple picking back in September
with all of our friends. This has become a yearly event that
we look forward to because it start off our fall activities. Georgia
loved it this year because she could get all the apples herself and
it took us for ever to pick because every time I would put one in
the bag she would have a small melt down and say
"mommy I do it me self" which we hear a lot around our
house these days. All of our best friends

Mom's Gone Wild! In NYC

J.C's dad use to always tell us that we will make our
best friends while we are at school and I didn't really
believe it but to my pleasant surprise we have made some
of the best friends here in NY. There is a group of us that
have become really close and we always seem to have fun.
I am so grateful for all of them and so happy that I have made
my best friends while here. OK so now on to the post.
The girls started planning a New York City trip in April and
on August 27th all our dreams came true. We left the husbands
with the kids and left for a 3 day weekend full of fun, shopping,
eating, talking, dancing, and a hole lot of laughing. One of our
friends hooked us up with a sweet apartment right off time square
in the perfect location and for free what could be better?
Here we are leaving my house on our way to the big city.
We got down to NYC and had some fun we walked around went
to dinner and just relaxed with out all the kids.
The next morning we got up and went running in Central Park.
We also ended up renting a tandem bike and it was a blast

After our morning of exercise we went straight to the doughnut shop
and boy was it good.

And then on to the shopping... we shopped till we couldn't
walk any more. It was a blast

That night we didn't end shopping till around 10 p.m. and so we hadn't
had dinner so at 10:30 we picked up some pop burgers and had a
pretty good time being the only people at the restaurant.
They had some great music and we couldn't help but dance on
the tables.
The next day it was off to church. One of my friends served
her mission in Brooklyn and so we went to one of her wards.
But first we had to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge

And after church we went off to Greenwich Village for some
lunch and some desert.
And then we were off, back to our lives of dippers, cleaning,
and cooking and being wives again. This was really one of the
most fun trips I have ever been on. We laughed, we cried, we
had the best weekend one I will never forget. I love these girls.
And really we owe a lot to the husbands
who willingly took all the kids for the 3 days.
