For Daddy
Georgia and I am in Utah and we have been
none stop playing with cousins for the past 36 hours that
we have been here. This is a new cousin Charlie that we haven't
meet till yesterday. Also we just wanted to put a few pictures
up for Jace. We miss him so much already and can't wait to see
him next week.
Grandma and the kids. Mostly I wanted to show K's face.

Things I am grateful for today
That I finished my neighbor/visiting teaching Christmas
presents. And that they turned out kind of cute even though
my husband doubted that I could embroider them after
watching a 1 minute tutorial on it.

and hasn't felt good today (which makes our days kind of hard),
she still managed to make me smile and laugh.
As I started to shovel the 8 inches of snow off my drive way
a brother and sister walking by with shovels in there hands asked if
they could help. I being the negative one told them no cause I didn't
have any money and didn't want to pay to have someone do
something I am totally capable of doing.
( I had turned down 2 sixteen year old boys doing it earlier cause I was not paying $20)
Only to my surprise the 14 year old girl says to me no we don't
want to get paid we just want to help. (in my head I am thinking it's
some how a scam) So I say to them you don't want to get paid then
why are you doing it? The 12 year old boy pipes in and says we were
board at home and our mom told us to go do something nice,
so were seeing if we can help people shovel snow.
Tears almost filled my eyes right then and there. So the 3 of
us shoveled the drive way and the side walk. As we were shoveling I
keep thinking a few things. 1st was how many 12 & 14 year old's would
do this? 2nd their mom did something right in raising these two kids.
Even if my mom told me to go do something nice I probably would
never have done this. 3rd was gratitude towards them for helping me
do something that would have taken me 15-20 minutes to do and the 3
of us did it in maybe 5 min. After we were done I invited them in my
house and gave them a whopping $3.00 (thats all I had) and some
candy for helping. The sad part was I couldn't even tell them to go get
a pop with the money cause it wasn't enough for each of them to have
one. So today I was grateful for my two new shoveling friends.

Pure Joy
Georgia woke up yesterday to the first snow here in New York.
She stood by the windows for a little bit watching it before I asked
Jace to take her out cause it was far too cold for me. I stood at the
kitchen window doing dishes and watched this girl find pure joy in
the little white snow flakes that were falling on her nose, in her dad's
mouth and on both of there heads. She was amazed and loved
watching the snow fall she probably would have stayed out
side all day if we would have let her. I think the pictures show
how much she loved it.

Best Buddies
Josie and Georgia haven't always been the best of friends.
Most of the time they are so happy to see each other then when
they start playing is when it gets nasty and one of them usually ends
in time out. So we have been working hard on showing them that they
can have fun with each other instead of just being jealous and mean.
Well the last trip was a little better where they spent about half of
there time playing and half of the time fighting. But over thanksgiving
they finally "got it"! They couldn't get enough of each other. They were
running and chasing each other. Playing with blocks, sharing there
movies. It was so nice and so much fun. I am so thankful that Georgia
has cousins her age or close to her age. Growing up my cousins were
and still to this day are some of my best friends and I am so thankful
that G will get to have that growing up.

Thanksgiving
We weren't able to make it home cause Jace
only had a few days off. But we were able to have thanksgiving
with our family and it was awesome. We headed up to Boston
to have thanksgiving with Paige and Lindsey.
Us girls decided it was too much to try and cook a
thanksgiving feast so we decided to go to
a hotel in Boston for there buffet. The food was soooo good
it had everything you could ever want on thanksgiving and more.
Georgia was a little crazy but they did seat us in the corner
so we could trap the girls in.

Hide and Seek
So Georgia is now into hiding and her favorite
place to do it is our cupboards.

a 23 lb. girl climbing on it and taking a spins.
The funny thing is when she is in there you can her her little
hands pushing herself around.
is now officially long enough to do a big girl pony tail.
Soooo Cute Right?

Taking After Mom
And that is not a good thing...
Georgia is in the stage right now that every time
you hear silence in your house for more than 5 minutes
it means that she is doing something she shouldn't be.
That happened twice today, which is normal but she was doing
things that I didn't want her to pick up on...
First I was putting away grocery's and didn't hear anything

First I was putting away grocery's and didn't hear anything
and walked into the living room to find that G had stole
a caffeine fee diet coke (my addiction) out of the fridge and
was trying to open it.
And next I was making desert for dinner tonight since
we are having the missionaries over, once again walk into the living
room and G is eating a square of chocolate but not
just any square but a unsweetened cooking square of chocolate.
it didn't quite faze her she ate over half of it before I found her.

Dr. Joe
been making some big changes and they are almost done.
We just found out they also got a new updated website that
is awesome. If you live in Utah and need a good Vet Joe is where
it's at. Visit his website here to learn about the clinic and all the fun
changes that are coming there way.
We love you Joe and can't wait to see the new place.

Poor Georgia Girl
any sort of needle for that matter, and it is even worse
watching G get this done. After 4 tubes of blood was
taken from this little girl we of coarse had to get
a treat which helps a little bit until she sees the band aid
and bursts into tears again. A hard day to say the least.

Christmas Comes Early
Christmas came early at the Liljenquist house
this year, and here are the reasons why...
A) The prices of the kitchen were going up by the day.
B)We are very impatient people and couldn't wait for G to get it
C)We figured she is to young to really know she got it 6 weeks early
D) We will be in Utah over Christmas
E) We are her parents and we can do what ever we want

Power Nap
Who knew that such a little girl that couldn't even talk
could make you laugh so hard? Georgia is so funny when
ever she is outside playing and gets tired she decides to just take a
few minutes where ever she is and take a "power nap" for a minute
or two. Here are a few pic to show you what she does.
I laugh so hard when she does this cause the kids that are around
her just look at her and stare at her like... why are you
on the ground..why aren't you moving? I love this
little girl and love that she needs "power naps".
On her way to the slide.

Trick-or-Treat
Trick-or-Treating was kind of a bust this year.
Georgia has had a cold and it was raining most of
the night. But we decided since it was G's first Halloween
we would still just go to a few of our neighbors

Everything even down to the bowl was festive and I loved it.

Weekend Away
Last weekend J.C. and I took a little weekend getaway
first we took Georgia to spend the weekend with
Aunt Paige. There so happened to be a football game that
night so we had to attend. G only made it to the 3 quarter but
it was still so much fun. I got kind of sad that I wasn't there to
watch Jace play football. It took me right back to WX High. (Go Cats!)

We love Van Morrison and have wanted to see him in concertfor a long time. We tried to get tickets once before
but Jace had school stuff so we couldn't go. Van was
finally going to be close to us again and it was the weekend
after a test so Jace could spend the whole weekend away.
So off to Connecticut we went. It was totally weird not having
G with us but we had so much fun together and LOVED the concert.
We forgot our little camera so we just got 2 pics from the
whole weekend. This is where the concert was.

Fortune
So everyone loves a good fortune right? When ever I get
a fortune cookie it's lame to say the least but J.C. seems to get
really good ones and really deep ones and when ever he gets
one that really means something to him he keeps them in
a special spot that he can see them each and every day.
My favorite fortune by far! Given our current situation
it really hit home.
I also love this one that he got the other day when
Georgia and I went to have lunch with him at the hospital.
Because we don't see him as much as we would like.
