Friends Trip 2010

Last week we took a little trip with
our closest friends. One of our friends found an awesome
house right on a lake and that would
fit all of us so we packed our bags
and headed to Lake Clear, NY. It was one of the most
fun trips I have ever been on. The kids
had so much fun at the lake, the girls had fun
soaking up the sun, and the guys had fun throwing around
the old pig skin. There were 19 of us
including all the kids. There was never
a dull moment at the house which made
it so much fun. We are so lucky we have made
some life long friends here and
we are grateful for all of them. The day we got there the kids ran in the front door, out through
the back and right into the lake; clothes, shoes and all.
G and I took the boat out
The girls getting a ride from Mark
This is a view of what you see out the back window
This house had everything anyone could ever want to do
I love this pictures G showing us "sea food"
G and dad throwing the Frisbee
G loves the sand, the second morning it was a little over cast,
but that didn't stop any of the kids from going to play.
We finally gave in and let them swim.
Click on this pic please!!! G's face is priceless

Boys playing Flies Up.
This is the house we stayed in with a
cute little girl running down the lawn.

The kids
The kids did some finger painting and...
had wild dance parties

Camden was the only boy with 8 girls. But I'm pretty sure
that he loves G the most
On our way home a few of us stopped at this awesome
place.
We had some good BBQ and live music, and again some good
dancing by 4 little girls dancing.
G doing some sweet moves.
We decided that this will be a yearly event even
even though we will be "breaking up" soon.

The BIG 2-7...

Almost a month ago it was Jaces
Birthday. He had a huge test the day after so
there wasn't much celebrating. In fact Georgia and
I only got to see him for an hour maybe two because he had so
much to do. I had to force him to come have dinner
and cake with us. But we did have a fun little celebration, just the
three of us. We love you Jace and are so grateful that we are
the lucky girls that get to have you all to our self's.

The Liljenquists Come to Albany

On mothers day we meet up with Matt and Laurie for brunch
in Boston and after words we headed to Albany for some fun.On our way in we remembered that the tulip festival was going
on so we stopped and had fun walking around.
Mothers day 2010
"Grandma and Joe" as Georgia would say. We tried to teach
G to call grandpa "Grandpa Joe" but she ended up just
dropping the Grandpa and only calling him Joe. Every day we
would hear her yelling Joe at any given time because
she loves Grandpa.
Joe got us all tickets to the Mark Knopfler concert in Albany.
For anyone who doesn't recognize his name is was
in the band Dire Straits, and the concert was soooo good.

One day we headed up to Sarratoga springs to go
to a car museum and walk around the cute little town.
They had a special exhibit on woodies that were way
fun to look at.

And last J.C. meet up with us to go to Hatties which is
one of the hot spots we have found. For anyone who watches
food network will know of Bobby Flay. Well he had a throw
down with the guy for Hatties and Hatties won for their
fried chicken and I must say it is really good.
Thanks for everything Joe and Cel we love you
and miss you already.

Grandpa Joe and Grandma Cel come to town

We have had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa
this week. We got to do a lot of fun things and spend time
with them, which is so fun in and of it's self.
We meet them in Boston on Friday morning and left J.C. to
study for the day while we explored a cute little town.
We also went to the famous Walden Pond, and also our favorite
thing to do, go visit old grave yards.

Saturday we were off to watch the Red Sox and Yankee's game

Matt and Laurie were in town, on there way to Europe so we
meet them at the game.
Kind of funny story but kind of not funny, I went to get Georgia
and J.C some lunch when I came back I couldn't find them and
I didn't have my ticket so I was just walking up and down the
isle when I start to hear a guy yelling at me
"GPS for sale..Get your GPS here" I was totally embarrassed with
a pizza and a hot dog in my hand. My problem was that I was
way too far, I had passed them down like 10 rows.
In the bottom of the 5th inning, all the sudden there was a total
down pour. The game was delayed for about an hour,
but we were soaked and cold, so we decided to go get dinner.

Poor Jace he was making sure G didn't get so wet but
he got drenched. That's why he is the best dad.
And last, a pic of Jace and his dad. Sometimes it is
shocking to me, that they are so much the same.
But I must say Joe is one of the greatest guys, and
the greatest dad. Jace is so lucky to have him as
his example and G and I are lucky he is just like his dad.
Lots more to come...When we all came to Albany.
