So we went to NYC because Jace had to take a test.
The day that he was gone taking his test me and the girls hung
out around town. We went shopping then went to lunch. When we
got back from lunch I decided to take the girls to swim at the
hotel pool. We had a good two hours of swimming. Millie
got to swim for 20 minutes then she sleep in the stroller
the rest of the time while G and I had some fun.
When we got out of the pool G went to put her towel
in the bucket so we could go back to our room and and she
slipped and hit the back of her head pretty hard. I picked her
up and as she was crying and all the sudden she went limp aka she
passed out. I freaked out started screaming help help. There were
kids out in the hall way that heard me and went to get there parents.
But they told there parents someone was drowning so one guy

But they told there parents someone was drowning so one guy
ran in and actually jumped in the pool ( bless his heart). Anyways
they had called 911 and so before I knew it we were surrounded
by a cop and 4 paramedics. They told me since she passed
out they needed to take her to the hospital. I said I wanted to wait
till Jace got back and then we could take her but the cop told me
they would have to report me to CPS if I didn't take her
just because she did pass out. So I keep trying to call Jace
I probably called him 10 times and he never answered and
he should have been back but he wasn't in our room so
someone went to my room and got Millies car seat and we meet
them at the ambulance. As were getting in Jace finally
showed up shocked and scared that his family was all
getting into an ambulance. With a shocked look on his face
he asked what happened so I told him then we decided Jace would
take G in the ambulance and I would take Millie back to the
room and get dressed and meet them up there. So bottom line
we spent the night in the E.R. they decided to do a C.T scan
on G and checked her out and finally we got the green light
to go home.
There is nothing like a night in the E.R. for some family
bonding time.
G doing the C.T. scan. At first she wouldn't do it and after
trying to get her to do it for 20 minutes they sent us back to our
room. They said they would need to put her out to do it if she
wouldn't agree to. So after about 30 minutes of us trying to bribe her
she finally said she would do it. What finally worked was we told her
she could have Millies Binkie while she did it. (We took her binki
away a few months ago and still would take one if we would let her.)

Here she is getting the scan done she did so good
and held so still. I was one proud Momma.
Then back to the hotel to relax and get some sleep
So true to form our biggest priority was to get doughnuts
and boy were they good. They never disappoint. My favorite
PB&J.

I'm glad she is okay. That is so scary.
I'm also glad (and a little jealous) that you got your donuts. They look terrific.
Oh the power of the binkie! I'm so glad Georgia is ok! What a crazy experience! And those donuts look delicious!
Scary!!! I'm so glad she's okay. Sometimes the medical ordeal is more traumatic than the injury itself! Ain't being a parent, fun? Love you guys!
How scary! I'm so glad she's OK (and that you were able to make yourselves all feel better with some doughnut love)!
Poor baby girl. I can't even think about that night, without feeling sick to my stomach. I don't know how I am going to make it as a parent. I don't think I"m cut out for it. Now I want Doughnut Plant.
Gotta love ER visits. It always happens when no one else is there to help out. Glad things turned out fine.
OH MY GOSH CPS???????? REALLY?????? I am so sad that happened to you! Trading a binkie for a brain scan is the sweetest part of the story! You good dear parents are my heros! Prayers and love, Sis xoxox
I am hoping that is one of those $6.00 donuts that Tiana can eat a dozen at a time of!
