This is where we spent our day today.
We were able to go to Boston today to attend the temple
with our branch. It was such a good day, but also
a little hard with a 7 month old baby. We had to leave our
house by 7:00 a.m. this meant getting up at about 5:30 a.m.
getting Georgia up early and getting her ready.
Driving the 2.5 hours to get there. Georgia not sleeping
a wink on the way up even though she usually takes
a nap at about 9:00 a.m. But was having way to much fun
looking out the windows and playing with toys, and gabbing.
Then getting to the church where we were dropping Georgia off
45 minutes before the session started, only to find
that she had a major explosion. So it took us about 30 minutes
to clean her up feed her and drop her off.
Finally it was off to the beautiful Boston Temple!

We had a great time at the temple, it is so
beautiful, and a much needed trip for both J.C. and I.
We went back to pick Georgia up and right when
we opened the door we hear her screaming.
The poor ladies watching her said she only screamed
for about 1 hour (of the 2 hours we were gone).
(Stranger Danger is setting in I think...Ugh)
We finally got her calmed down and went down
town Boston to grab a bite to eat. We went to
UBurger and it was delish!
Georgia again not sleeping a wink.
We finally made it home at 6:00 p.m., 11 hours after we left home
The biggest lesson I learned today is that
living in Utah so close to so many temples was truly
a blessing. When you don't live by a temple and have to
make a trip like we did today you realize how
great you once had it. We use to be able to get to 3 different
temples in the matter of 20 minutes from our house in SLC.
So if you’re reading this and you live close to a temple
don't take it for granted. Go whenever you can because
a lot of people don't have that luxury.
All in all we had a pretty good day, it was a day full of the spirit
and a day that we got to spend entirely together
as a family.

We didn't realize how good we had it, did we? Our temple (Winter Quarters) is about that far away too, so it's an all day trip. We had a branch temple trip today actually, but it got cancelled because of the snow and ice. I'm glad you got to go!
i am so proud of you for making the trek! next time please call me and i will set you up with babysitters for georgia (my neice allie if it is a saturday) and that might make things easier. they live about 5 minutes from the temple and would be happy to help! we miss you!

I meant, TELL JC next time not to be such a PIG and give Georgia a bite of hamburger, damnit. (I'm not sure what happened to my typing skills, sorry!)
